Here we have my trusted steed I've had this for few years and always had it looked after properly following on from the original owners all those service stamps in the book.... which you are welcome to inspect!
This car has documented timing belt changes the last one 30th October 2013 227496 miles
It is almost 20 years old now and yet looks lovely and drives fine with no undue noises.... the engine purrs along and sounds like new. It's the only diesel Ive ever had where the oil stays yellow colour after service usually they go black immediately....so it's testament to the work that has been consistent over the years.

Yes it has few foibles but nothing much... sometimes passenger door lock doesn't work sometimes it does same with the window switch on that door...but always works from drivers' side so never worried me. The radio is non standard along with the aerial which is rubbish (the centre console has the original cd multidisc player embedded but I've never used it).

Glass roof works fine and doesn't leak at all.Aircon/climate control is lovely and cold too.The car starts first time every time and has had recent new batteries fitted....  Underneath virtually all bushes have been replaced with poly bushes...at every MOT it's had whatever needed spending and is when bushes are worn they got replaced with decent stuff it was about ??800 this year for MOT with suspension arms/bushes and some welding needed for pass. On this note the car is almost 20 years old so please don't expect brand new car.

There are few dents in various places (never worried me) that if it bothered you hour labour with PDR man would sort those out apart from the tailgate which has had drawbar nudges over time (before bought it). Scratches down the sides in various places but you're not looking at this useful tool as show piece I'm confident you're either going to use it as intended OR an investment piece as these are no longer going down in value.
Hi and lo range and diff lock works fine as does the overdrive and gear changes and the suspension goes up and down as normal too.
Tyres are very good fronts have done about 3k miles and rear about 1k miles.

In the last years have done 9k miles in total and it won't be long before that overall mileage comes down to low figure for year...  ie would expect to see average 12k/per year so this year average mileage would be roughly 240k miles it's not far from average even now at 289k miles. If you think these get used as tool not an average commuter it's actually low mileage for the usefulness of it!!!

There is heavy duty tow bar with top quality Dixon Bates 3500Kg tow ball/pin & jaw along with 100A Anderson connector for power take off and brand new pin socket for trailer lights. In relation to towing... there are few tailgate dings and bumper scratches from previous owner who evidently reversed into his drawbar on more than one occassion. The bumper has reversing sensors fitted but they've never worked while in my possession.

I have priced this sensibly.

There are similar adverts for similar ones with much more being asked no service history one with broken gearbox and wont rev up but still wants ??4500 and also there's ones with poor advert and very little about the history etc so make up your own mind as to the validity of the vehicle.... this one you can drive away WITH CONFIDENCE.
