Runs great. Super reliable. Superb gas mileage. Daily driver for years. Several trips across the country. Bought new Prius, selling this one after 11 years.
Pros: Always babied on full synthetic oil. Recent brakes, 12-volt battery and wheel bearing. Driven conservatively. Everything works: lights, locks, windows, wipers, sprayers, radio, etc. Significantly better stereo system than later models. Excellent suspension and handling. No fluid leaks of any kind, ever. Can drive it to Alaska and back if you feel like it. Great around town and rock solid on the highway. Never any problem in more than decade. Non-smokers. No pets. Two smart keys. Great car.

Cons: little dirty from 14 years of family use (center arm rest cargo area carpet). Dash lights go out or times year when the weather changes for day or two then come back on. Known problem with "multi-meter" and has been that way for ten years. Does not affect driving. Might need muffler before too long. Accident with truck damaged left rear quarter panel, and hood damaged by boat propeller (!) when someone backed into us. Both cosmetic only and fully repaired. (No airbag deployment or any mechanical damage at all.) See photos of hood and quarter panel.
