am selling my maroon 5-speed manual 1998 Toyota Tacoma 3.4l V6 extended cab 4x4.  have owned the truck for almost two years now and the only reason why am selling is because the Tacoma isn't capable of towing my project car (technically it could, but it'd be sketchy).  So went out and bought Tundra, hence the reason for this ad.  purchased this truck in Las Cruces, New Mexico from guy who owned it for about 16 years.  Clean Carfax shows two owners but actually, there are three that know of.  Current mileage is 216,688.  doubt it will go up much, if at all.  The timing belt, water pump, and related maintenance was done at 184,013 miles which have receipts for from the previous owner.

I'm sure am missing some things.  As for known issues, I've addressed most of them but its still 20 year old truck.  The AC is little noisy when running but it still blows cold, the driver's side rear seatbelt doesn't retract and every few months the cluster will black out while driving, turning it off and then back on fixes it though.  Clear coat is faded mostly on the top.  That's pretty much it that comes to mind.  It's great little truck that has never failed to start on the first crank.  The truck has lived its entire life in the south so the frame has zero rust like many Tacomas from up North.  There are misc scratches and minor dents on it but nothing serious.
