We are proud to offer this exceptionally clean 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with only 56k original miles. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained and had been under restoration for the past nine years here in Fort Worth, Texas. The exterior is finished in the original Toyota factory color. Not only is this vehicle in exceptional condition outside, but is also mechanically in great shape. The 4-speed gear box was recently overhauled and is in excellent working condition. The clutch was also replaced at the same time. The 4.2 liter In-Line cylinder is original and is in great running condition. The suspension system was also recently replaced by Ray's Champion Springs along with set of new ProComp Shocks, and new tie rod ends. All four corners of the FJ just received new B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A radial tires, mounted on black Rock Crawler wheels. The interior is in excellent condition. The seating surfaces are in near perfect condition. The floor boards have been rhino-lined in black. All body panels are solid, the undercarriage is in good condition with little corrosion or rust. The frame was undercoated at the same time that the restoration was performed.The dash board does have small tear on the passenger side, but this is very minor.  The FJ drives nicely, even without having power steering or A/C (both of which can be added by the next owner).
