This is the real deal, Neil. For Sale is 1969 original unrestored Land Cruiser with 30,000 miles. This vehicle was purchased new in 1968 by the original owner and used sparingly on his property until he parked it around 2001. It was left to sit in his warehouse until his death in 2018. It was then transferred to family member where obtained it.
The following work was done to get it back in running condition. The gas tank was removed and cleaned out and sealed. The fuel pump was replaced the original comes with and the carburetor was rebuilt. The brake master cylinder was replaced along with wheel cylinders. The oil was also changed and new battery. The bullet proof cylinder engine fired right up. This 1969 Toyota FJ40 is superb example with 100% originality retained. It is equipped with the bullet proof inline 6-cylinder engine producing 155 HP and speed manual transmission ???3 on the tree). Designed with minimal interior, offering safari jump seating. When Toyota and Land Rover went head to head in the 1960s, Toyota won nearly every encounter in the roughest parts of the former British Empire. The short-wheelbase FJ40 was generally sturdier and did not require as much maintenance as its British counterpart. All FJ40 Land Cruisers are two door four-wheel drive trucks with removable hardtop, doors and fold down windshield frame allowing for "open-air" driving. The Land Cruiser first came out in 1960 and soon started showing up in the US market in 1963.
